Default Car stalls when VVT Minimum Coolant temp is reached at idle

Posting this for documentation purposes, I haven't seen anyone specifically mention stalling when the car hits the coolant activation threshold at idle with 'Adjust Inj Timing Based On' set to Off. If I am driving when VVT activates I notice a very slight stutter but it isn't an issue to me. At idle, VVT Duty jumps to 99.8% even though my advance table is commanding a -0.2% advance, and my car stalls without fail every time.

Running Firmware 1.4.0
A fix for the Injector timing freaking out when VVT turns on is in 1.5.xx however I don't care enough to deal with the changing PID algorithms and engine states features. That doesn't even seem to be the cause in this instance as the injector timing barely changes.

I have had issues in the past with my car not liking VVT being activated when cold, however I will be trying my coolant activation threshold at -40 clt like it was in the basemap to see if my additional idle tuning fixed those issues.

Switching my car to always have VVT on via setting the coolant on temp to -40 seems to work fine as a workaround.

Your VVT min/max values are probably wrong, forcing a VVT error, and when the VVT enables at your threshold temp, it tries to target an impossible angle, forcing the duty to max and stalling the engine.

Thanks Rev, I will try recalculating my min/max VVT angles and see what I get using this guide I found, it looks like I probably calculated these wrong originally.
