I have a Braineack MS3X and i would like to install a MAC EBC.
I am having a little issue with the wiring and would like your help.
According to Braineack's manual i should connect my EBC to 4AF and 4X wires on my MAF connector as shows below:
and according to the following diagram 4AF (White/Red) is a 12V and 4X (Pink) is a signal:
So i connected one wire to the white/red and the second one to the pink:
I used the test-mode in tunerstudio to test the wiring:
I tried different frequencies and nothing, no clicking from the solenoid.
I then connected the one wire to the white/red and the second to the black and heard a click, which i guess means that the solenoid itself is OK.
Below are my boost control settings:
Any idea what could it be?
The other thing that i an trying to figure out are the vacuum lines, with no electricity i took a straw and blew air into port 2, the air went out via port 3 which seems to be right, so i connected the turbo outlet to port 2 and port 3 to the wastegate, this way if the solenoid fails the turbo will work with its wastegate, and when there is a signal it will navigate the air to port 1 (atmosphere)
I will take a look, but while i will have it out from the car, could you please advise from what pin it goes to the the 4X, so i would install one if it is missing?
you must have an earlier one where i didnt start putting boost through the MAF connector as a standard. either run a wire out or try to add it to the connector at 4x. Running a wire out might end up being easier...
