boost control mod kit no 1n4002 wtftodo?
got a kit from diy autotune and it diddnt come with the 1n4002 diode....
i got a 1n4001,4003,4004,4005 from radio shack but they diddnt have a 4002. can i substitute one of these or should i hunt the correct one down?

yes you can use those diodes prefferably the 1n4003

last number is voltage. Even the lowest one (1N4001) handles 50V, so more than enough.

We've determined though testing that the diode isn't necessary, so it's not included to save cost. There is no downside to installing it.
