Autotune freezes on rich AFR values
Hey guys, first post because I'm usually lurking and searching but I haven't found anybody with the issue that I'm having or maybe my search terms need work....
So I have an AEM x-series hooked up to my MS and they are calibrated with each other. At idle and when driving the AFR gauge in tunerstudio matches what the AFR gauge in the car shows. The problem comes up when I'm using autotune. When running autotune, after about a minute or two the AFR gauge on tunerstudio freezes on a rich value such as 10/12 etc which causes tunerstudio to lean the car out. If I turn autotune off and come to a stop the two AFR gauges go back to working in sync but as soon as I start autotune the AFR gauge in TS goes back to being stuck on a rich value. The car runs ok currently as I was able to get a decent tune completed before the gauge froze in TS, but I'll be installing ITBs soon and will want to generate another tune so I'd like to get this issue figured out.
The AFR calibration is currently set to AEM x series. It was originally custom using the recommended AEM values but I switched it to x-series hoping it would fix the issue but it did not.
I've emailed DIYAUTOTUNE and they confirmed that my wideband is wired in correctly and they suggested doing a manual calibration of the wideband which I will try but I wanted to post here to get some more insight.
Thanks
