Hello friends,

I've been running my FM S1 NA8 Miata for a few years now and am ready to ditch the piggy back for a MS3PNP. I've having a difficult time with all the different MS manuals out there, figuring out if I'm able to utilize the Autometer gauge I've been running. I thought I might be able to just wire up the Blue/Black&Blue 'Optional Data Logger Signal Output' to the factory O2 connector, since that feeds into MS- however I'm unsure if that's even an option. Would anyone be so kind to help point me in the right direction? How would I go about integrating this gauge w/ MS? Sheet 41 of the Ampefi states that you're able to utilize most aftermarket wideband's- but with the autometer using a +/- 0-5v signal (I'm not even sure if this is the correct line), I don't know if I'm able to use the O2 option port.

Reaching out to Autometer- they've said that the blue wire is the 0-5v signal wire- and the blue/black wire is the signal ground. So am I ok in landing these in the stock O2 connectors?

You will want to refer to DIYAutotune manuals or installation guides like this https://www.diyautotune.com/product/...-manual-trans/ especially for wiring guidance.

That should tell you where to hook the wire to. You can always send them an email, too. They usually respond fairly quickly.

I'm not familiar with the controller you are using but an analog signal of 0-5 volts is what MS is looking for. It can be calibrated in tunerstudio to the controllers output. I don't think you'll have a problem.

Thank you Hector!!! I've done just that. Here was their response:

'The Autometer instructions are pretty good, as not all wide bands talk about specific brands. The Black and Blue negative wire would connect to the sensor ground, you can use Pin A on the rear option port for this. For the Blue wire, you have a couple options. You can connect to the factory O2 signal wire at the front O2 sensor harness, it is on the 3rd connector at pin 3A, the link below has the pinout for both the option port and main ecu connector. The second option is to use the Analog Input 1 on the rear option port (originally for MAF) for the O2 signal in. Once you have it wired in, go to the fuel settings menu and then to EGO/AFR Control so you can tell it where the signal is coming in, either O2 in if using the front O2 harness or Analog input 1 if using the rear option port.
