"Using a spare 1K resistor from your assembly kit and jump IG- and B+ in your diagnostics box (located near the driver shock tower). Shape the resistor into a wide “U” and trim the legs down so it fits inside the cover. Make sure it doesn’t touch any other pins -- B+ connects directly to the battery."
This should restore signal to your tach gauge.

I thought that fix only worked for the 94-95.5 cars
my car is a later build 95
ive been trying to confirm with rev this issue, I know the ms2e has a tach output, but not sure if it was catered specifically to the late 95 model car I have
