Another MS3x VVT into NA Startup Issues Thread
I think I have read most of the other of these threads trying to chase down the gremlin but I am out of ideas and hope someone can point me in the right direction.
Here's the situation:
2002 VVT motor going into a 90 NA6 body.
1.6 was running on MS3x previous to swap and 1.8 was running on stock ECU
Timing belt was not messed with nor was the harmonic balancer.
All connections were made per Savington's "VVT Swap in 90-97 chassis" megathread.
Motor is mainly stock with the exception of 640cc Flowforce injectors and aftermarket intake (no VTCS) and exhaust.
Currently it turns over, spits and coughs and even occasionally runs at approx 350 RPM but will not sustain life.
I have followed every chain of thought that I could think of, have checked and rechecked wiring.
My last idea is to put the OE injectors back in and try again but I'm hoping some of you experts out there may be able to see what I'm missing.
Attached are my logs and tune, any help would be greatly appreciated!
