I'm using the correct base tune from Trubokitty. I have an AEM 30-4110 wideband install and a GM IAT sensor from Diyautotune in my otherwise stock 1997 NA 1.8, running on MS3X.

The car will turn over when cranking, pretty slowly, but if I stop turning the key it dies. The log I'm including was when it started at the slow speed and kept going after I stopped turning the key for a few seconds. I'm thinking the log file will be indicative of the issue on its own, I just don't know enough to diagnose it this way yet.

I hope this won't be another one of those threads that only I post in lol. So I got the car running by changing the timing a little bit and using closed loop idle. It's just running like garbage, and struggles when I give it gas. The timing light flashes at really weird intervals. The exhaust is really smoky, no backfiring. It's idling at like 700rpm but really rough, and the start isn't exactly great either. Any pointers based on that? Including a snapshot of nominal conditions while it's running.
