Default 2000 NB1 new MS3 Brain built, cranks/pops, sync loss31&32 and humming sound

Installed my Brain built MS3 this morning after finally upgrading from a diypnp2 that had seen better days.

It was preloaded with a 99-00 base tune.

Made new project, detected firmware and calibrated sensors.

Go to crank and it sounds a bit off even during cranking, but even with feathering the gas pedal here and there and letting it crank for excessive seconds. All I get it is maybe an odd "pop" sound here and there and motor is close to running but just not there yet.

I've played with my crank pulse and I've even played with the crank rpm but nothing has changed.

Before I mess with any more settings. I'm posting my tune, folder, and even 2 logs from cranking.

I do see sync loss 31 and 32 which I understand to be cams not seen. But it intermittent while cranking so I'd rather it fire up and actually see how often that is. the sync loss counter was up to 39 tallies from just cranking alone.

Also with the key in the on position, there is very loud hum coming from what I believe to be intake area, but as with so many components there. I could not single out the source of the sound.

Thanks for any help, I'm excited to get this car back on the road. Just don't want to kill the battery cranking.

May or may not help, but I had some issues similar to yours, same errors too. The biggest difference was when I changed the trigger from rising edge to falling edge.

That's all that needed to happen. Changed to falling edge and the car fired right up and idled. Very pleased!

Thanks forum!
