Back in 2018 I was interested in buying some heap to fix up, so I bought a '92 Miata with 250k miles on it. In hindsight I can't recommend doing the same. Anyways this picture was right after a sketchy craigslist deal (also my daily GTI in the background):
This car was absolute trash. The clean shell was about the only redeeming quality. I ended up stripping it to a shell and refinishing/replacing almost everything:
I've gotten it back together now, and I'm prepping for my first time on the track (PIR) in late June. Car is N/A right now, but I feel like there may be a turbo in the future (nothing crazy).
There are too many mods for me to remember, but some of bigger things:
BP4W + Almost full bolt-ons (waiting on an RB muffler)
DIY MS3

At the moment I'm trying to get tuning figured out. Car runs reasonably, but still have some lean on hot start issues that I've been slowly making progress on - I'm planning to take it to a tuner once I've got a few minor mechanical issues sorted out.
