What up??
Names Zak, I have a 99 nb with 150k miles, 5 speed trans, and torsen rear end. Bought her bone stock 2 years ago, since then I have added, hard dog roll bar, Megan street coilovers, side exhaust, short shifter, removable steering wheel, rims tires and paint. She had come a long way and looks great (I'll post pictures before n after) I've been set on turboing her for a while but want to get as much knowledge as I can before hand. I'd like to piece together my own kit to suit my needs. Looking to run at least 200 horsepower, maybe more. I've started doing a little research, but not much. I'm going to do a compression test and leak down to make sure she's all sealed up correctly. Then get a megasquirt wide band ecu tune it then go from there.

Hi Zak. Please tell us why you added removable steering wheel, and short shifter? I appreciate you adding a legit roll bar instead of a mousetrap style bar.
Do you have pics of side exhaust?
200whp in your car. I assume you want to save money. Where are you from?

Added removable steering wheel because I'm a taller guy 6ft 2 it makes it way easier to get in and out of the car and my knees don't hit the smaller steering wheel when I'm driving. Short shift was just a spur of the moment mind of thing but I love it been great since I've installed it. I did an engine swap for the roll bar saved me some money. 200 seems about right for a miata maybe 245ish. Looking to run 8 or 9 psi. I'm located in Rancho Cucamonga I'm going to add all the stuff in a bit to my sig. Pictures will be up soon

Cause I liked it...
EDIT: Actually, I was going to say I like the ride height in the picture. A little low but not bad. Then you said you went lower...
I do like the color of the car and the white top is a nice contrast. But really, why did you cut a hole in the side for an exhaust?

Wait which picture is the latest picture? In one of them the panel around the exhaust is painted, in the other it's not.
I believe the word you meant to use was resonator. A resignator? I believe that is appropriately applied to the former Gov Kitzhaber of Oregon, who resigned last week.

Hey that's alright. Looks good. Like Chip Foose says, you should do with the car what makes you happy. It's entirely possible those future choices may draw fire from people on this board. Just weather that storm and don't take it personally. Respect yourself and your car, and people will respect you for it. Or dump a giant load of internet **** on your head, but it's only internet ****
