Turbo NB2 in Splash Green from Minnesota
Long Time Lurker of probably 1-2 years here. Figured I'd actually say hi now.
Hi.
I've had my 2003 Miata for about 3 years now. I got her with only 36k smiles on the clock.
The first thing I did being the high school student I was at the time, I put in better speakers, an amp, and a new radio. That was fun and all, But I always wanted to get under the hood and actually do something fun.
So I got a Cobalt "Cold" Air Intake because I don't know. It looked neat, gave the car some suck noises but didn't do much in reality.
After about a year and a half of research and figuring out what I wanted to do. I finally decided to Turbocharge her.
I got the MKTurbo Complete Kit.
Took 2 weekends working with a friend to take her apart, and put her back together properly. But I am proud to say I finally have a boosted miata and holy crap, Didn't think a Miata could be more fun to drive.
So here she is.
Current Mods(In order of install):
kicker Speakers
Pioneer Amp
JVC touchscreen radio
Custom CNC machined stainless steel shift ****
LED Lights EVERYWHERE
Cobalt CAI(Removed)
Custom 3D printed license plate mount
Real oil pressure sender & gauge from '91 Miata
RevLimiter MX-8 Gauges
Cipher Auto Steering wheel
Flyin' Miata Stage 1 Clutch Happy Meal
Shifter Rebuild
Mkturbo Complete Kit
Perfect Tuning Universal Gauge
She is now past 53k miles and I've enjoyed every mile and counting.
Currently waiting on a DW200 Fuel pump as the stock one is on its way out. Probably going to get some new rims to replace the stock ones that are corroding under the paint.
Thank you for viewing.
And a thanks to everyone's post on here that helped me figure all this stuff out!

I did install the Mkturbo kit myself. It went pretty smoothly. The V-bands sure do make the exhaust go together smoothly and quickly. The Intake piping and inter cooler stuff bolted together nicely. The hardest part really is figuring out what you're doing when tuning. It's a huge learning curve. It's been nearly a month now on the MS3 and I've just finally got my idle to nearly OEM perfect.
Good Luck on your Turbo project!
