Turbo Exocet time!
Hey team,
I bought an NB!
She's a 1998 NB VS edition with 366kms on the body and 150kms on the motor. 6-speed, assuming it has a torsen. Planning to daily it for a while then start the strip down in summer and order an exocet frame.
Couldn't be more excited.
Here's the parts plan so far:
Engine
Supertech 84mm 9:1 pistons with Wiseco rings
Manley H-beam rods
ACL race bearings
ARP head studs
Coolant relocation
Turbo
Thinking BW EFR 6758 if I find a good deal
Kraken or FM manifold or the Trackspeed kit
Clutch
Stick with OEM until it melts
Keen to set an aspirational target of 300hp. I'm based in Wellington in New Zealand - anyone based here? I'm sure ill have heaps of questions along the way. Will probably start a build thread for tracking, don't really have time to do a youtube series.
Cheers!

I would say a 6258 is happy making around 350hp or so. without being pushed to its limits.
But if you want over 350hp, say 400-450whp, then a 6758 is a good choice.
im running a 6258 at 16psi and making 300whp on pump gas.
