Default Took the plunge!

Hello everyone,

My name is Dan, i am 26 and live in North East England.

I have recently bought a 1994 1.8 Eunos Roadster. Standard engine other than an HKS cone filter, for now. It was 2004 import with loads of service history. It is sitting on Bilstein coilovers and running Toyo Proxes on rear and some Yokohama's on the front until i replace those with Proxes too.

I have been pretty impressed with th car so far as i have previously owned an Impreza STI Type Uk, a Civic Type R and a Cooper S. This is by far the most fun to drive.

I work as Mechanical Maintnenace Technician for Nissan in Sunderland.

Unfortunately for me this bug has bitten and i have started to collect parts for a turbo build.

I have acquired a Volvo TD04l 12T and have been in touch with sturovo about a manifold and downpipe.

Originally i was going to run a basic setup with AFPR, o2 clamp, and ignition retarding, but, after reading through many posts i am going to try and do a decent jon.

Looking to fit the following:

Volvo TD04L 12T turbo
Custom manifold and downpipe
Greddy E manage
Audi A3 1.8T intercooler (bargain at £19.31)
Wideband o2
Manual Boost Control

I have probably missed parts off but please forgive me as i am writing this at 0400 as i am working night shift.

Any advice or input is greatly appreciated, and hopefully i will be able to meet a few of you in the future.

Thanks for reading guys...........

(holds breath and waits for the first kicking to begin)

Welcome to the forum.

Im going to say what everybody else is going to say. Forget the Emanage. Yes its sort of better than a RRFPR, o2 clamp, etc.
BUT Its still basically rubbish.

I would suggest the following first steps.
1) Get Megasuirt and install it. You can find a deal on a used MS2 if youre patient.
2) Once car is running well on MS, install some big injectors, and get it running well again.
3) Now turbo things can happen.
