Hello all,
I bought my 91 from a guy in Pennsylvania looking to get rid of his toys. He claimed all it needed was some "fuel mapping", and seeing how I enjoy tinkering with cars, I figured this to be the perfect fit.
The car came with a Greddy 15g turbo kit and a stock ECU. To fix the possibility of knock, they retarded the stock timing 4 degrees and placed an o2 clamp for boosted MAPs. These bandaids and the loss of low end torque bothered me enough to build my own ECU.
2 months and a Microsquirt Module later, the miata is running great! I am running a spark map I grabbed off of this forum, and the fuel map is a tuned version of the diyPNP. I have been taking enough information off of this forum, so I have decided its time to start posting.
