Phoenix, AZ J-Swap Miata
Hey Guys -
I'm back after a bit of hiatus. I had a 1991/1992 ish (long story) Greddy Turbo that I sold on Bring-A-Trailer to a member here.
Old Car

I had lots of plans for the old girl before I bought a Noble M12 GTO-3R and got a bit power hungry there. The car made 486whp and weighs the same as the 1992 Miata. The only problem is that I'm far too incompetent a driver to make use of the car on track, and I ended up worried about crashing it so its not really enjoyable as track car you're always worried about (although I still have it and love to use as a weekend special drive).
I decided to get back in the Miata game and ended up wanting a:
(a) Reliable Track Car
(b) That doesn't need a mountain of mods in order to get it to a state I'm happy with that's reliable.
(c) That I can drive on the street occasionally (pass AZ smog)
I ended up buying this J-Swap track-rat from BaT here.

It should arrive next week! Seems like someone has gone through a lot of trouble sorting it, and hopefully I won't be tightening boost hoses, wondering about cooling issues, or re-tightening turbo studs with a relatively stock motor that puts out more power than my old turbo. Love the noise it makes too.
