nooooooooob right here. Howdy
Whats up everyone, I'm Kodi, just turned 21 last week and enjoying life...
but seriously I never would have guess i'd be driving a miata, let alone putting money into one and building one.
Bought my 1990 miata in september 2012, it was a mess. it had been spray painted several times, completely stripped for drifting, and beat to hell and i definitely didnt really know what i was getting into with this thing. It was kind of an impulse buy.
I bought it originally to keep the miles off of my 2010 wrx but the miata is now becoming my sunny day car haha (and those are few and far between this time of year in nj..)
Here are a few pics of my project thus far.
The day after i bought it
fitting the new xxr 531's (15x8 +0) with 205/50 tires which i'm selling (tires only)
hand made flares
all prepped for paint
Always gotta have a cold one in hand
Harddog m1 roll bar (single diagonal)
Used grizzly grip grey truck bed liner on the interior as well as the engine bay (which was completely oversprayed red)
Came across some door panels and did my own thing from there

The straps are actually screwed into the door itself and just fed through the split in the panels, it actually really doesn't pull on the panels much at all.
As for the exhaust it is fully straight piped and it was all custom made from the last owner
