Default Nood from Arkansas/Indiana

I would like to start by apologizing. This is my first forum and I was very clueless. I posted a couple questions before reading the noob threads and now that I have read them, I feel like an idiot. So for all those I already pissed off, I am sorry! I hearby promise to use punctuation, proper grammar (although it's not my strongest suite), and only ask questions after doing thorough research first.

My name is Austin Kerr. I go to school full time at Harding University and I am a professional sales major. I am 22 years old and already married. I will admit that I bought my miata for my wife, but since I drove it for the first time, I have fallen in love with my little go kart of a car! It is a 1994 stock Miata and it has nearly 240k miles on it. Seriously. But the engine is still super strong and it runs great! I haven't had it long, but my wife and I already love it!

My ultimate goal for it would be make it into a track day/daily driver car. But my funds are still limited right now and I am still working on getting it back to the good looking car it once was. I have a fair amount of experience with cars, but I'm no expert. I am actually ASE certified as an auto parts specialist and I worked at AutoZone as a manager for 3 years. So I know a fair amount about car parts. I will do my best to not step on any toes when I post. Thanks ahead of time for any help you all give me! Oh, almost forgot, I have live in Indiana most of my life, but I'm currently in Searcy, AR for school, that's why I list two locations on my profile. I travel home to Indiana about once a month.

Come autocross with us in LR, www.arscca.org. golferluke and I are regulars there, and there's another guy with a turbo miata who's a regular too.

Thanks for the invite man! I would love to sometime! Any idea when you guys will be going next? I've honestly never been, so would you mind explaining how it works to me please? I've been to a track before, but each one is different and the one I've been to is in Indiana.

There's some good information about local Autocrosses in this forum: http://www.arrides.com/forums/index.php?showforum=40
