Default Noob from Tampa! 56k warning.

My name andrew I own a miata, I like to spend my money on it. lol
Background on me.
I work at Keystone automotive 40+hrs a week.
Love to drive and work on my cars.
Going back to school in jan for auto tech.

I got it back in late may for $500 not running had been sitting for say 6years.

Stats:
1992 mazda Miata (C package?)
136k miles
5speed
Power windows
Working AC
PS
Factory LSD
Black on black on tan soon to be black on black on black.

Like this.

First things i did to get it running.
Oil change
new battery
clean ignition switch
move underhood ground
New fuel pump
New plugs
New wires
Once it was running it drove good but needed a clutch.

So I did:
New clutch
New pilot bearing
New throw out bearing
New Clutch master
Rebuilt slave
Synthic fluid in the trans

After that the water pump started to leak out of the weap hole so i did:
Water pump
Timing belt
Tensioners
Idlers
New radiator hoses
New coolant
Fresh synthic oil
Valve cover gasket
Pcv
Accesiory belts

Pile of parts from that

Inside At the start of the 5hrs of work

Then painted the dash.
from

to

Other stuff i have done in no order.

Shaved trunk key hole

New wheels($30 tires i had) Also shows new fender.

Projector headlights(WIP)

New Black top

Cut and Painted Valve cover.

Short throw shifter.
Cherry bomb muffler(need to replace Didnt turn out like i hoped).
Cut up stock air box.
Removed Charcol canister, Cruise, and winshield washer bottle.
Turned the tach sideways.

Have also installed a set of webcam 505 +2.5(if i remember right), Moded the ecu, new head unit, Kyb Agx shocks, Ground controls.

I did a test run on my 99 wheels painting them, Came out decent but will redo after some practice.
The paint was free so i was mainly testing that the paint was good, Also that i liked em black.

Came out decent for no primer, Will redo in a couple weeks after i prep them to perfection.

some pictures.
coat of black

beside the car

Plans FM 2 Hardware, MSPNP, port polish head and port maching(done by me), seats, roll bar, and more.

I'd like to see a writeup and some detailed pics of the headlights.... not that I want to do something similar, but it does look interesting.

The pupils just weren't dilated, due to sitting in the dark. More pics and info on the projector conversion.

I've been rolling without a good amount of space under my hood (read: lots of unnecessary things taken out) since before I'd even heard of CR..

I will take some pitures of the lights one of these days when i get some better stuff to redo them.

The plan is to mount them top center of the opening then make the lids open just enough to show them should look much better.

Sam101 Ive never been on CR although i know/met/talked to the creater who is cool guy, need to check out on there. the dash was painted with dupicolor fabric/plastic paint w/e its called.

oilstain.. wasnt sure how much i would need so i bought 2 who cares... extra is good.

Edit: Will be ordering MS tuesday when my money clears my account! and following the write up on here!

Figure ill do a quick little update and alittle info on the lights.

I havent orderd MS cant decide which way i wanna go, plus im now jobless.

Had the car dynod made 106whp@6500rpm 95wtq@5500rpm. I love how it makes peak power were the redline starts on the tach, And i love making the tach show 8250
Had problems with the dyno loosing tach signal but it was free so im happy for now.

I redid the lights to only open as much as needed. Did it so they still worked going up and down.

Altho i have gone back to stock because i didnt like how i couldnt adjust the lights.

Dont really have a write up for the lights but in the second setup the lights were just riveted to the top of the light frame with a bracket on the bottom.

The lights are from a 9x chrysler concorde.

I have recently made my hood open like a honda, Makes working on the engine alot easier.

primered my rear filler panel which is now perfectly smooth.

And made custom TSI`s.
