Newb from Nashville TN area
Hi all, new to turbonet, already on Mnet. I have an '01 BRG SE that I've been driving as a DD for 2yrs. now and have put 45Kmi. on it in that time. It's pretty well stock and I've run one AutoX in it on all season tires
My stock radiator blew on the way home from work and I picked up a used alum. one that was in good shape, no issues so far. I changed all the fluids when I got it and adjusted a few things (throttle cable, top latches, etc.)
I'm hoping my first upgrade will be a set of MSM shocks/springs to replace the probably shot stockers and lower it ~1" I'm hoping.
Next up will be maintenance - rear wheel bearings (wobble hum), trans seals (front 6sp leak), window glide kit, speakers and headunit, etc.
It's nice to have a DD that's fun on the way home at least.

Hi Scrappy, not a local myself unfortunately. When I do get downtown I stroll Broad Street (the main drag) and just listen to the music as I stroll past the open door clubs. I can usually find a different one each time as there is a different type band playing. I've got a neighbor that is a former singer and I know she regulars at a couple clubs, I'll ask her favorites.
For breakfast the Pancake House near Vanderbilt will fill you to the hilt and they are good, lots of varieties and the wait staff have been there for >10yrs most of them. I'll see if I can get some good examples for meals. Our club cruises back roads to eat all around the outlying areas so we don't eat much in downtown.

Here is there list of activities, took the wife on a few and she enjoyed, they don't drive old and slow I can say. They go to unique places and take the twistiest ways there they can find. They also do the Dragon, opentrack, out of state trips, etc.

You can see gods house at the end of the street, he's such a show off with the sun always lighting up his house.... really aggravating but the neighbors are afraid to say anything.
Even the dog thinks this is a bad idea:
Picked it up with 68K on odo in 12/11, now pushing 115K. Interior was in good shape but my seats are now cracking.

Here's the Mustang stable. The '67 is near the end of a 4yr. 'while I'm at it'. Here is what it looked like pre teardown for a chipped flywheel:
This is about the stage it's at now:
Original 289 stroked to 333ci, AOD and 9" added with some other stuff along the way. I'm old school and like the fat 15" tires and stockish look.
Here's the wife's '09, it's a Warriors in Pink edition, found out from Ford they only made 199 and this one has the special order glass roof. Wife is a survivor and she wanted a sporty car when her hair grew back in post chemo/radiation in '09 so I bought her this for getting through it. She gets recognized a lot in it, gotten a few awards at shows, etc. It's only a V6 but she's on her 2nd speeding ticket....
The day I surprised her with it, still sporting her soft 'bunny hair' that came in post chemo, her normal hair came back a few months later.
Glass roof
Parade laps at Nashville SuperSpeedWay (now closed :(
Glamour shot, one thing is people don't miss her coming at them. Luckily the stripes are a rose pink vs. pepto bismol:

Hey Michael, yes it was the BRG color/package that sold me on getting a Miata.
I'm still in the Mustang club and Miata club, both are MCMC. Looking forward to going to the Mustang 50th in Charlotte NC next April.
Trying to pick up some MSM Bilstein's to show the Miata some luv. Other items little by little, I feel like I'm stealing from the other car each time I buy something for one of them.
