New PNW Miata owner (2 days and ready for boost)
Hey guys and gals,
Always been an import lover (predominantly Nissan and Mazda) Not really new to any aspect of cars, tuning or forced induction, just the Miata in general... I have owned a few other Mazdas (sa22, FC, FD, RX-8) in my time and felt it was time to get back in the ZoomZoom game with a new challenge..
Got bored with the AE86/Silvia/Rotary drift scene, so I am starting a new venture on a completely foreign platform that i barely fit in.. I stand 6'7
I loved the feeling of my old underpowered, super light AE86 but find more style in the Miata platform and because it is completely new to me, it is something I see myself really getting into.
My '90 was purchased three days ago and had been geriatric owned from the factory by one gentleman it's entire life. He was selling because it was "too fast" (a shopping cart could beat this thing) and hurt his back to get in and out of. I capitalized on the deal and the rest of my "becausedriftcar" budget went into my suspension, brakes, rims and tires.
Now it's time for POWER (my goal is a reliable 220whp on stock internals except for possibly valves/springs)
Was looking online for fuel maps and ran across this very helpful site.
And, that is my intro.
