new miata owner
Hi everyone,
After being inspired by riding in a friend's turbo miata, I've come into possession of a front ended, 'drifted' 1999 in Emerald Mica. Currently road legal with three fence posts as a bumper, spare driver side mirror off a 944 turbo, and lots of zip ties and duct tape. Subframes are mostly made of rust. The good news is that it has a few decent things on it already, and is the second nastiest miata i've seen.
The plan tentatively is to concentrate on the drivetrain, then swap that into a non-terminal shell I have lined up. Slowly piecing together parts for MS/boost, and I have a RX7 clutch-type to rebuild.
I'll have pictures when it's light out. It looks ridiculous and sounds awful in the way that only a car bought with incorrectly installed underglow and no good body panel can.
