New to the forum with two Miatas
Hey all,
My name is Cameron. Currently a 2 Miata owning car guy (with 4 other cars laying around the house). Thought I would start joining some forums since I am looking to start getting one of my cars ready to sell and the other ready to autocross this spring.
I'll just give a little information about myself. I've been a car guy since I was little. Always liked working on cars and of course I love taking them out so full little drives down twisty back roads. A friend of mine in high school bought a blue 92 Miata. After driving it, I fell in love. Since then I have constantly been keeping an eye out for one and bought a red 93 about 6 months ago (6 years after my friend getting one) with a few issues (like rust). But I just got a blue 92 with 109k, no rocker panel rust, nice top, etc. So I will be on here looking for parts and slowly documenting my progress. Hoping to turbo it in a year or two.
Hopefully I can find some meets around the Philadelphia area and meet up with some of you guys. Glad to be on the forum

Haven't been on since I posted last. The blue Miata fell through. It had a Lemon title, so I backed out because in PA it stays on the title. I know it's not a huge deal, but for resale reasons down the road, I chose not to deal with it. Here are some pictures of my red '93 MX-5.
I just picked up a hard top for it right after having a buddy do some rust repair (he welded in metal, then covered with fiberglass and primer.). I am still unsure of whether I want to keep it, or sell it and buy a 94-96 or a 2000+. I would prefer to start with a car with lower miles and no rust ever, but I only paid 2,100 for this car so I'm kinda wondering if I should just keep it and have fun with it, any suggestions on that?
I want to go turbo eventually (180-200 HP), just need to save some money this summer and sell a Ford 302, a bunch of cars and misc. crap I have around the house. Mostly I just want to have a fun daily driver/autocross, and MAYBE track car (down the road). I of course am here to get ideas and learn. I know I'm going to have stupid ideas that hopefully some of you will smack me around and point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance,
-Cameron
