NB Noob Bashing time...
So I've been on here for a while and lurked and just realized I've never made and intro thread so here goes.
I first purchased a white 99 in January of 2012. It was stock except for a brainworks dual exhaust that was on it which had multiple holes rusted through it.
Next to my friends Suzuki swapped turbo geo metro...
First thing I really did was get rid of the brainworks exhaust for a cheap 99 dollar stainless muffler, 15x9 6ul's and raceland coilovers(was needing them fast for the 15x9 fitment)
After a while the top tore and I removed the entire rag top and frame. Needing a top I decided to try and acquire a top and got a trade for a hardtop for the 6ul's. Needing wheels I decided on 15x8 konig flatouts.
In the pics above you may notice the headlights. The factory light output was horrible so I decided bi-xenon projectors were in order. So I purchased a kit from a retrofitting website and sourced some factory HID ballasts from a BMW 5 series from a pick and pull.
Around the same time the front brakes needed attention so I went head with the upgrade.
Being 6'1" the steering wheel always hit my knees so I went with a slightly smaller diameter wheel.
Lastly for a while the bumper having been modified for a dual exhaust was bugging me. I cut from the left side cutout across to the right side factory cutout as well as tinted the tail lights red.
