Miata Noob...
Hey folks, just checking in. This is my first Miata which I picked up in October. It's a 1990 and I purchased it the way it sits now, with the hardtop, 17" rims and Potenzas, Tokico HP's, lowering/stiffer springs, thicker front and rear anti-roll bars, upgraded rotors and pads, etc... Nothing done power wise. Pretty original car with the orig. paint and nice condition interior, etc... I've always been a Datsun/Nissan Z car fan the majority of my life (owned '71 240Z (very original, upgraded the suspension), 300ZX Turbo (modded), 280ZX, all which were real nice) and didn't think about Miata's too much but I must say I'm a fan now. I'm quite amazed at how well the car handles. I would love to do a turbo kit but other things require my money (wedding, house, college, etc...) so I will have to live vicariously through all of you!
Below is a pic. I still need to buff, polish, wax the paint as it's a little oxidized right now.
If there's any Z car fans out there, here's a pic of the 240Z I had:
I'm located in southeastern Wisconsin. I'm hoping by April 1st I'll get the Miata out on the streets.

Trust me, I have tried to find ways to strategically get more money for the Miata. I might just end up selling a kidney.
I have checked the local craigslist ads, other forums, and dare I say... even checked a Honda forum to see if anyone had some nice 16's or 15's for sale. I wouldn't mind losing the 17's but wouldn't want to do it unless for a straight up trade.
I'll have to post some pics of the car after I get it cleaned up.
Thanks for the welcome.
