Hi, my name is Scott, I'm from Fort Myers, FL. I just noticed this forum, I'm a little slow I suppose. I joined the site a few months ago but just recently started to post. I bought my '90 Miata last August to be a daily driver for my SC'd S2000 that was becoming less than reliable. The Miata is that horrific "gay blue" color (I was told it's "crystal blue", but it just looks gay to me).
Time passes... I keep breaking stuff on the S2000, insurance is over 3x higher than the Miata, parts are expensive... I do some little suspension mods to the Miata (springs, shocks, sways) and take it out to autocross when the S2k blows another diff or breaks another axle, or whatever the problem was that week. The Miata tears up autocross, I run 0.5 slower in my 90whp Miata that I ran in my 325whp S2000, and the Miata was honestly more fun to drive. That convinces me it's time to put the S2k on the road, I sell it, buy a beater '96 Prelude and begin my quest to build a beast of a Miata.
Looking forward to learning a lot from you guys. I've got some FI knowledge from my centrifical SC on the S2k, but a complete noob when it comes to turbos. Very happy to have found a Miata site that's a bit less... hmm... shall I say... old and grumpy? than M.net. I've got a lot of pictures of my progress so far but I'm "working" (term used loosely) now and photobucket is blocked. I'll try to stop back by this afternoon to get some pics up.

Welcome Scott; if you were running from m.net because they were old and grumpy I can assure you they're are some old farts like me over here.
With regards to grumpy guys: I'll let you reach your own conclusions in due time!
BTW, pics or ban!

Ahh, maybe "old and grumpy" weren't exactly the words I was looking for. I've discovered that there's definitely 2 groups of people that own Miata's and this site seems to be a different group than the m.neters. You can tell that by the smileys
I'll get the pics up asap.
