HOW-TO: POST A PICTURE (please read noobs)
Figured, since we're going to get more and more youngsters who don't have enough knowledge or brainpower to figure out how to post pictures, I will take my precious time at work and show you, step-by-step, the amazing art of uploading your pictures without having to ask...and save you from the possible flames of hatred.
All the veterans can just refer to this thread when the noobs say they can't upload pictures
Step 1:
-Figure out a site, where you can upload your picture to get a html link...I use tinypic.
-Go to: TINYPIC.COM
Step 2:
-Click "choose a file" and then select your photo from your computer.
-Then click "Resize" and select either "message board (640x480) or the 15" screen" so your picture isn't too oversized.
-Then click "Upload" on the bottom.
Step 3:
-Complete the difficult task of typing the two passcodes to be able to move on...
Step 4:
-On this next page, you will receive your html codes for the picture...click on the one that says "IMG code for forums and message boards" and copy the link.
-If you want to upload more pictures, you can click "Upload more" on the bottom.
Step 5:
-Paste your new IMG code into your post, then click "Preview Post" on the bottom to make sure it came out okay. If it looks good, submit your post and BAM, you have just done it!!!
Now, if you need to upload a photo that you already have a link of, as an example, a photo off facebook or google images...
Step 1:
-Click the little picture that looks like a mountain with a sun on top in your little tool box above the post you're making.
Step 2:
-In the window, that pops up, paste the html link of your selected picture, then hit "OK"
-Your picture's IMG code should be posted in your post. Hit "Preview Post" to double-check your job and then Submit your post if it looks okay.
Now you know how to post a picture, no need to ask any more...
