I've been driving N/A NA6's on track for a while now - I've moved onto an Exocet (mostly a miata...). It's currently N/A 1.6 - headers/MSPNP2/NB 6-speed/4.1 Torsion. I'm learning the car and tuning while it's N/A, but want to move to ~170whp fast spooling turbo setup at some point down the line!
The project this week is to wire up sequential injection, and "upgrade" the injectors. The ones on it are suspect at best - I have a set of 550's I'm hoping will idle OK for a track car.

I'm actually needing to find someone to tune the car soon. I've been doing the auto-tune plus rough tuning, but probably need to get a pro in on the action. Hoping there's a shop good for it in Nashville.
Welcome and nice to have another Exocet owner! There are quite a few of us on here.
Excellent! The LFX exocet seems like a great option, fantastic power and pretty light. I'm partial to the K-series, but have 3 separate 1.6 miata motors with tons of spares. So I'll probably keep on this path for at least a season or two. East coast tracks do seem to favor the power cars, I miss Sonoma raceway!
What do you drive? I've probably seen you around. I'm up in Sevierville quite often, I have a few friends that live near Walter's State.
I’ve got 2 miatas. The first is an NB currently plasti dipped flat black with a bfw spoiler and mkturbo kit. The other is a multi colored na with an efr
I'm pretty close to you. I live in Knoxville but I'm currently in school at Tennessee Tech in Cookeville.
Ha - I graduated from TTU back in 2010, visited Cookeville when I came back to the east coast and found that NOTHING HAD CHANGED (except they finally finished the STEM building @ TTU).
This thread seems to have become a, "who's out in TN" - thread. Super cool to see so many enthusiasts so close.
Yet, I still haven't been able to meet any Miata buds. :(

Oh neat! I'm finishing my Junior year in EE. Overall, I'm liking it here. However, the entire campus is now one big construction site. Current construction projects consist of a massive new science building, entire new Fit, and dorm/Library/UC renovations. I'm almost convinced the construction workers out number the student body.
Oh, here's my Youtube channel - I like to make and post time-lapses for my own enjoyment (and the occasional on-track video). If anyone is interested in that sort of thing.
Also, you could come to any ETR autox and find all kinds of miatae.
You're about equal distance from Knoxville/MidTN if you're in Cookeville, TRSCCA does autoX in and around Mid-TN as well. I'm going to try to make some events this year, I don't enjoy autoX as much, but anytime I'm driving is a good time.
