Hi from south side Va.
I wanted to say hi and say how much I like these forums. I try to get to read them daily and have learned much since first discovering it.
I have put in my signature what I/ we have been working on of late and is still in the tuning stage. I owe a lot to you all for sharing your knowledge which put me on the course of turboing my car.

I autocross the car and wanted a fast spool up. If I had to do it over again, I would have gone with a housing that had a more common flange. I had to have a machine shop make me the flange for the downpipe to attatch to. The huge cast that you reffer to would put the downpipe through the hood, lol.

I picked up one of those turbos at the junkyard. I couldn't get over the fact that they had a 3 liter engine huffing through that little thing. The one I have has a giant cast outlet on it. I haven't ever done anything with it, but you can never have too many old turbos laying around.
