Default Hi

Names Tyler.
I drive a 94 black 1.8.
mods to date are cut coils on stock struts. cat removed. dyi cai. front turn singals mia.

just got my tax returns and ordered.
megan coils.
act 6 puck semi solid and 8 lb flywheel.
sportmax wheels YES 002's 15x8 what a suprise i know.
megan header and dp. godspeed alum rad.
knock off deep dish wheel with quick release.
front strut bar.
and a roll bar.

first of march im turboing..
But im stuck between a begi kit. or dyi.
so hopfully someone can give me some guidence there.
Next week how ever i am going to be ordering ms pnp and the ait kit.
I want to have ms in and working well before i turbo.

if i were to dyi turbo i was thinking ebay mani godspeed fmic t25 charger.
custom oil lines and so on.. but im very scared of dyi seeing as how ive already blown a buddys 1.6 with a greddy kit..

My goals for the car. well idk.
I come from 240's i know ill get bagged on but im a drifter nothing d1 or anything im just a local event some out of state events and stuff. i just want something comparable to my coupe with sr20 on 14psi roughly 280-300 hp i believe.
but as of right now im enjoying driving this thing stock and sliding it its very enjoyable..

Well theres my intro

Welcome.
Cut coils on stock shocks are pimp status s0n. Don't let these jokers tell you otherwise.

And what the **** is a "semi-solid" 6 puck?
There's sprung and there's solid. Did you cut the springs on your clutch too?

BTW drifting is very popular on this forum. You should put that in your sig.

Welcome!

Sounds like you have a pretty good plan laid out. For MS stuff (in case you didn't know) check out http://www.dyiautotune.com. They have really great kits and some excellent tuning articles you should read up on.

As for your turbo, the tacotaco mani is a great fit with the godspeed t25. The tubular mani's also fit a T25 flange, but they tend to crack if you don't re-weld them (although the performance is much better due to their design, so on short drift runs, you'll probably be OK).

I bet 14 pounds on that sr20 ripped! I drove an SR swapped s13 and damn near jizzed myself from how fast it was!

No lol the picture showed a solid disk but said semi solid.. idfk just quoting what it said..
And in a sense yes on the header but itll be awhile before i turbo if i dyi witch the more and more i read around seems it might be the route im going to take.
and when im done ill craigslist it for 100$ or hang it in the garage for when i get a dd miata. right now this one is track and dd. i plan on buying another and making this one strictly track.

Miata_slider!

Welcome... Judging by your user name I'm assuming you're into Curling too! I'm really excited to have a fellow hurler on board.

I got in our local paper:

Do you sweep or hurling? I guess you hurl since you're a slider!
