HEY HEY , new MSM owner in Virginia
Hello everybody,
The Name is Jerry or " Q" Im 36 (Dec. 10 that changes) but theres no question i for the most part feel like in in my 20's. I'm married and have a great 9 year son who loves to ride any chance we get.. Hes my co-pilot
Vehicle 2004 MSM ( not completely stock) #73 of 4000
First off , I love my Miata! its a blast to drive and I ask myself "why in the hell did I not get one of these so long ago"? The crazy thing is I USED to sell them right as the body change was from the NA to NB.....oh well that's time lost. moving forward..
As stated above, the car is number #73 of the 4000 made that production year.
it has a Turbonetics T3/T4 snail 57trim. XSpower external wastegate (Tial guts) HKS SSQ BOV, Koyo rad. Walbro Fp, all custom inter cooler piping apexi intercooler, custom DP and exhaust with HKS can, Tein Coilover set up sitting on SSR competitions 17X7 front/ 17X7.5 rear. Gran turismo Brembo brake kit gliding over 13" crossdrilled/slotted rotors, and slotted rear rotors, a few Defi guages, Eshift indicator, custom made carbon fiber air splitter, Carillo rods, new rings, bearings replaced along with water pump and timing belt at 40,000 miles, just clocked 87,000 yesterday.. new Fidanza lightened flywheel with Exedy stage 2 clutch and PP along with pilot and TOB. still on stock ECU with 8psi boost, it USED to have a AVC-R and a AFC when the previous owner had it.. i think thats about it... theres plenty to do to it, like NEW DP and full exhaust, ecu , injectors, bigger turbo, intercooler and piping. the list could go on for while, but im sure you get the idea..
Im wanting to do a few things to my gocart but I dont know which way I want to go. Im anixous to do things to it though. The factory turbo and most everything else was done by the previous owner and featured in Sport Compact Car in 06. thats kind of cool , right ? Im starting to go through and see things I want to change and things I feel should be REdone. Anyways, thanks for taking the time to Read , I find myself on this forum alot more than Mazda Roadster here lately which is where I have spent alot of of time and looks like it will be that way from here on out. I look forward to learn and meet other turbo'd Miata owners here and hopefully locally... I hope I havent rambled on too much... Nice to Meet all of you !!
