I'm glad this thread seems to be making forward progress. It is hard to do anything but face palm when someone posts up they did research and decided on an ebay kit.
Pick up used stuff slowly off the classifieds and build a good setup for cheap.

Lets just make things clear right here right now.
Some ebay stuff is great. In fact, people run ebay turbos without any issues at all. IC piping, and other assorted odds and ends are fine to buy from ebay.
But we all know a greater investment in the short term results in less expense in the long term. So maybe instead you should think about buying a barebones FM or BEGi kit instead? That way you know things will fit properly and you won't need to ******* rig anything together using miscellaneous ebay junk. (last thing you want is to be enjoying your peppy little car in the middle of summer and have am ebay coolant line to the turbo bust causing the car to overheat and warp the head) All because you somehow managed to miss every single god damn thread on this site talking about ebay parts.
Perhaps you should not ask questions and maybe wait to get started. Doing things overnight and without the proper thought will only lead to failure.

Just get MS3 basic from Rev. then go to good tuning shop and get it tuned. But yeah. Start slowly picking up turbo parts.
Read about 1 million more threads... You will be able to do it eventually.
I just put a IHI MSM turbo on my car. Thought I had everything. Ended up costing me well over 200 bucks in random crap I still needed or had to replace, plus over 2 months in waiting on parts and working on it during the weekends. I'm still tuning the car with Revs MS3 Basic, and will for im sure quite a while till I get it tuned at MAP.
I am in no way a smart guy on here. But still. Read read read read. Im glad you are at least listening. There is hope for this one yet.
and welcome :P

If I could weld and I was in your shoes I would either pick up a used BEGI or Flyin' Miata manifold and fab the downpipe to tailpipe OR, if I was ambitous I would fab up the manifold as well. A simple "weld-el" manifold will do you fine as a starting point and should be really cheap. Do an "Advanced Search" for the term "weld-el" and see what you find.
Use the money saved by fabbing by buying/building a megasquirt.
