Hello from London, UK
Hi all, I purchased an MX-5 a few months ago with the intent to only keep it for a short while and then sell it to get something faster (purely track car). As always, plans have changed and I have bought another MX-5 (in better condition bodywise) with the intent to go turbo. Again this project car will be a track car only.
So far I only have a few mods:
- Roll bar
- Braided lines
- PBS ProTrack front brake pads
- EBS YellowStuff rear brake pads
- Sparco Sprint bucket seat
- OMP steering wheel with NRG quick release hub
- MeisterR Clubrace Coilovers (awaiting delivery)
- Bosch EV14 640cc injectors (awaiting delivery)
- MS3 ECU
The idea is to turbo the car with good quality parts to preserve the reliability. I won't be going for big numbers, I'd be happy with anything 200bhp+ for now as I'll be sticking with the stock engine for now.
I look forward to learning from the community on here and also sharing my build progress.
