Hello from Alaska
So my wife and I were looking for a fun convertible for summer cruising and while checking out a MG Midget we happened upon this '05 MSM with 35K mi driven here from CA and always garaged with it's Mazda car cover so needless to say we know are enjoying the classic roadster touring here where the mountains meet the ocean. She's a clean stock Black Mica beauty we call Sofia which is a Japanese woman's name for wisdom. I'd say a wise move on our part, wouldn't you?

Welcome to the forum.
Miata is not just a summer cruising car.
I lived in AK for 20 years, and a Torsen equipped, studded Nokian shod '99 Miata was among the very best handling cars I had a chance to drive there in winter. Ok, four winters.
The car warms up in no time, and handles the worst conditions with ease.
My best drive was from Palmer to Anchorage, at 2 am on a thanksgiving night, on absolutely untracked 4" snow on Glenn highway. I never dropped below 75 mph.
Oh, and don't bother taking it to the dealer for service. Just go to FATS on Int'l Airport Road.
