After browsing this forum for about a year I'm finally joining!
My name's Ben, 23, and of course I drive a 1993 Mazda Miata that I've owned for about a year and a half. Purchased in Feb, 2016. 3rd owner, with 125k. 2 months later my engine spun a bearing, and not knowing much about cars besides the basics (oil change, brakes) I decided it'd be a great idea to pull the engine in my garage. Finally got it running that summer with a "new" depot engine and trans w/ around 50-60k on it.
Not much done apart from the basics. Running a Manzo catback exhaust with stock cat hollowed, Raceland Primo coilovers, F1R wheels 15x8, Megasquirt PNP2 ECU, Innovate Wideband, as well as a few cosmetic upgrades.
I plan on boosting it over the winter, just trying to figure out a turbo set up. Would like to make around 200hp, but debating doing a NB trans/drivetrain upgrade and make much more.
I'd like to think I'm not a complete noob, but I am definitely here to learn and talk with all you guys so I can be a more educated Miata-er.
Nice setup, get rid of the racelands though! DIY Bilstein coilovers is what all the cool kids are doing.
An awesome setup for the 1.8s, if you're not looking for a kit: eBay "TacoTaco" cast manifold + SR20 T25 turbo, 2.5 exhaust. This should get you to 200 whp easily.

I'm actually pretty pleased with mine. I think because they're the primos so he adjustable dampening helps fine tune a little.
And I have a 1.6, but one of the guys I work with did suggest getting an SR20 turbo.
