Greetings from hawaii
Hello all this is Josh im 33 from Hawaiian island of Oahu. Been lurking for some time after purchasing my first miata and this is my second post lol sorry didnt introduce myself first. This is my first time on a forum like this. When i was a teenager i had a 1g NA Eclipse that i had fun moding with exhaust suspension etc. Since im a tile contractor i drive a large work truck everyday now and really miss driving a fun little 5speed. So i decided to pick up a miata maybe do some scca races etc. Anyway i know my build is very amature and cheap but here it is. Aloha
P.S. sorry my spelling and grammar suck

Welcome. I had already seen you build thread. Looks like you are making good progress.
If you go to your profile, you should find a place to add your location that will show up beneath your name in posts you make. @samnavy is in Hawaii. This will be a shock... he is in the Navy.

Yup, at PMRF on Kauai. The base has a carshow once a year and theres a full 1/4 mile NRA dragstrip just outside the base. Kauai SCCA has races at the stadium in Lihue. I've watched a few times, good turnout and a lot of cars you never see on the road... small island, if you're a car-guy, you pretty much know every nice car here.

Nice! Ive been to kauai once for a gradeschool class trip. Such a beautiful island and super laidback cool people. Wish we had a track here still lots of memories watching demolition derbies and dirt track/drag strip action as a kid. Hopefully we can find a place for a track here soon much needed.
