Greddy Miata from the Netherlands
Hi Guys,
After a long period of almost only reading and a few posts, it is time to introduce myself.
As my nickname suggests, am I Stephan from the Netherlands.
Since 2005 i own a '91 Miata, wich is imported form California.
Untill now i am already too long busy with the Greddy turbo kit (since 2007), or what's left of it. Of the basic set I use only the turbo itself and afpr.
For almost two years I have parts in my possession for further upgrades, like an MS and injectors, but don't have the time.
Also two years ago is the engine overhauled, it has maybe 1000 miles runned now. Says enough of the time I have.
The car is far from finished, it seems like a ten-year plan

Really sweet looking car, looks to be in great shape. I like the blue hoses personally, though I think since you've got black and red on the outside, black hoses and lines on the engine would look perfect.
Really nice build. Now make some powa!! You had the motor out, is it built?

Thnx for the compliments!
@Fireindc, I started one with blue because most of the stores over here is that the color they have in stock. The wheels are OZ Ultraleggera.
@Turbofan, what do you mean with is it built?
@Viperormiata, the MS is ready to install, but my knowledge insn't enough at the moment.

I guess after watching all the baller build threads on here from boost addicted boats, I see no reason to pull an engine out of a car if you're not going to fill it with forged internals before reinstallation.

The wheels are indeed 16", yes, need some spacers.
The reason for the engine rebuild was a broken drivebelt what I didn't noticed on a sunny day with the top down, result: crooked head belt was nearly one year old.
Once i started with the repair, I came to the conclusion that one of the pistons was in a bad shape, so I choose for a overhaul. I choosed for IL Motorsport 0,25 oversized pistons, new bearings and some other new parts.
I didn't choose for stronger pistons and rods because it is too expensive for me, and don't want boost that large (for now )
