de-noobing
another .. thought I would post up and put an end to the late night spying, shadowing group buys, and try to legitimize my post count at least.
don't have a turbo and probably won't get one this season but looking at next year. But the info on it around here is solid and I have some ideas as to what I want to do.
I have a 90 miata that is pretty stock but I have a basement o parts waiting to go in, including some mad tyte JDM **** (5zigen header, RSR exhaust, some Mazdaspeed stuff), which some really seem to hate but that's fine with me Quality > JDM ebay parts, LOL
6UL's are on order.. I want to try the car out on a track if possible this year, which should be doable, once I finish all the work required with the suspension and rollbar install, and once the damn snow melts so I can pull the car out of hibernation
Also looking at adding a MS, there seems to be a alot knowledge around it which is great. Also digging the noob intolerance, which other boards should take note of, really keeps sh*t clean around here.
Probably won't post much until I get involved in the MS side of things, hell, I got more private messages at this point from group buys / parts.
Also looking for a reputable tuner in the Toronto area when the time comes, if anyone knows.. hook it up.

I suggest you guys go where you went in the past, TAG.
Tag has a nice DynoJet and a HUGE facility with awesome parking. Hes also between Trafalgar and Ford Drive off the QEW.
If there were enough guys i could put you in touch with Mel and let him know to hook you guys up
Oh and welcome Jmack

Il call them soon, do you have any idea a rough estimate how many ppl we can get so i can see what kind of discount we can get here? And when you guys are planning to be ready? Or should i just start a new thread?

I'm only mildly interested in the dyno at this point... for one, my car is NA and I have a replacement i / h / e so I'm not expecting more than 10hp out of all that, hard to get excited about dynoing the car at this point. It's also unlikely that I will have a MS installed by April or so... yeah, that's me being realistic. Even more realistic is that none of those parts are installed and my car is still in storage.
I would also start a new thread for this.

Anyways, now that the drama is over, I ordered some more stuff to my US address today:
FM frame rails
FM cat
Hella headlamps
Falken Azenis in 205/50 for the 6ULs
Front lip OEM
NRG thin quick release
hard dog single diag roll bar
Can't wait to get all this **** in town, I'll need a truck I think
