checking in from Ft. myers. SPR1 builder!
whats up guys. new to forum. im kyle. i have ordered the first SPR1 kit to come to the states, it should be sailing across the Atlantic right now. estimated delivery date is mid july. in the mean time, i have my donor car that im getting prepped for the kits arrival. i have owned 5 NAs, 4 in the last 12 months, and currently have 2.
details about my 2 miatas:
The daily:
95, bone stock motor all the way down to the airbox, custom cat back with manzo can, test pipe/cat delete, team dynamic wheels, nitto tires, short shifter, hard dog double diagonal, speedy racer coil overs, custom painted gauge panel, double din, front and rear lip with ebay bacon side skirts, midnight royal blue pearl plastidip. typical mild engine bay delete stuff. its reliable and never let me down.
the SPR1 project:
97, fully built mesa balancing motor(not in the car yet), ported heads, gt35r turbo, tial 44mm EWG, tial BOV, briggs motorsports manifold, RX7 LSD in a miata case, walbro 450lph fuel pump, megan racing coil overs, individual coil/plug conversion
i still need a bunch of stuff for it so ill create a build thread tomorrow that people can follow and maybe contribute parts for. goal is 500hp on the dyno just to say i have the same power/weight as a Veyron. will detune to 400hp for the street.
this is the first time im doing this extensive of a build by myself. i have built a monster of a 05 STI track prepped/street legal car in the past, but i outsourced a good bit of the work. i am very mechanically inclined but i have awesome local miata guys that can help with knowledge i lack. my hands will be in every bit of this project as a learning experience, but i will have some help along the way. also google, youtube, and this forum will become my best friend, haha.

Greetings, Florida Man. I think we have a few other Lee County people on here as well. I used to live in PC myself, and have done some ECU work for them in the past.
