I know of a 1200whp 350z. I know nothing about their transmissions.

A friend of mine has one with 500 feet elbows of torque and slightly more horsepowers. Seems fine except for the the crappy clutch hydraulics, which seem to fail at odd times.

I'm having flashbacks. This dude even wanted a T56.
Just an FYI that the thread starter in the build thread posted above has been parting out and selling his setup on various FB groups while talking about how awesome it was. I don't think I ever saw the half mile or even quarter mile numbers... or even a dyno... from him ever.

There's older dyno on the old setup. I dunno. Car has potential.

I've seen his car in person, it's decent but you can see corners cut and design flaws. Not bad for a kid though.

I have to give Hairdresser some props here. He /she has taken a 7 page beating, has yet to be banned and is still posting. At least his skin is pretty thick.

Was just thinking this. We should quietly let him progress, just because of his shear tenacity. I mean he's not even being a dick.

Why are you guys attacking him? In like two pages alone there are 20k in new parts, minimum. Sure, he might be not following our formula for built bp engines using 200whp, but he has access to serious funds.

I'm jelly.

I also agree that vvt doesnt matter on track. if you are below 4k, you are in the wrong gear.

Also haven't read the whole thread lol... carry on
