Benton 25 in Olympia.
Yo- Long time lurker, finally made an account.
My name's Benton and I've had my Miata about six months. After a rod knock, and 3 grand later, I'd say I'm committed to this build. Found a motor with 80k, replaced the clutch in the process. I'm just trying to learn as much as I can before I start my turbo build. Lack of funding pushed me to do whatever free stuff I could. Foamectomy, Removed everything I deemed unnecessary. I just removed most of the A/C, besides that large pipe through the firewall, I didn't have a big enough wrench.
My goal is to build a fun, street-able race car. I'm planning on picking up MS and getting it tuned, then put together everything else. I'm like Begi kits, but I know I could piece it together myself for cheaper. I'll be around, reading and probably asking a lot of questions. Anyone into meet-ups, or need a hand in real life, let me know. I'm pretty handy with a wrench.
Nice to be on the site. I'll do what I can to contribute.
