Allen from Texas finally making my first post!!!
If you didn’t catch it in the title, I’m Allen. I’m 22 and I live in the Austin area in Texas and I’ve been into miatas for years. I’ve been on the forums lurking for a year or so but I’m finally joining. I purchased my first miata in October and I’ve been itching to mod it. She’s a stock red 85k ‘99 with tan top (eww its gonna go as soon as I get a chance to install the black Robbins I got) and aftermarket rims I just installed (one of the ones from flyin miata).
I currently work for the Army National Guard as a federal technician to maintain Blackhawk helicopters. I also deploy sometime over the summer, so that affects my plans. But I’m trying my best to keep studying and preparing for when I do get back (with all that deployment money $$$). The goal is to learn from y’all’s mistakes so that my build will go perfectly with no hiccoughs at all. And I don’t see any reason to expect anything less to be honest
I have many aspirations for this car (and others potentially in the future (cough Ls3 build cough)). I look forward to joining this community of enthusiasts that likes to actually mod cars instead of just doing “exhaust mods” by finding left on a wrench and burning clutches (cough mustang community cough).
