Alabama MSM Intro
Hey all,
I've had my miata for several years now and finally decided to join the forum as there is certainly a wealth of info here.
My car: It's an '04 MSM that I got in early '08. The upgrade path was slow for the first few years, then I started the major work this past summer with a built engine and a switch to a Motec ECU from the Hydra. Currently working on squeezing all I can out of the stock turbo, then possibly a switch to a track-only car next year. I've done some spec miata racing in the past in rented cars, but I'm ready to start running my own car.
Me: I recently graduated from Auburn University with a Mechanical Engineering degree. Spent the majority of my time there on the Formula SAE team and headed up all powertrain development for two years. I stayed in the area after graduation to work at APR (the VW/Audi tuner) as an Engine Calibration Engineer.
I look forward to spending some time here and offering up what I can to help!

I haven't been there since '08 actually. I did the Skippy school there which was my first time ever on track I believe. Definitely a fun track. I spend most of my time at Barber and Road Atlanta, both of which are 2-2.5 hours from me.
