Default Super huge dyno pull

The rpm band is so huge that it took 35 seconds to complete!

God damn I love Geo Metros

More likely its such an extremely low horsepower output that it takes 35 seconds to rev out 4th gear to 6k on a load holding dyno.

I don't even think he ran the entire gear out, not enough power Sounded like he let off at like ~5500rpm, unless they redline that low.

At that level you cant properly measure in HP. You have to use monkey power.

I was waiting for the dyno guy to shake his head, leave the picture, grab a beer, come back, finish it, and shake his head again.

I almost bought one while my car was down...and yes, I was already figuring out how I was going to turbo it.

The problem is that turbos only add HP, not torque. What you need is a M45 blower. Then it will have a predictable powerband.

Whole. E. Shiite.

Please look up the definition of horsepower.

This engine needs more FNI due to its lack of displacement. With its high performance valve train and high flow cylinder head, it has all the MP it needs already for the top end. It's the FNI that will get it out of the hole.

Id love to get a metro, put a civic engine in it, boost it, and freak people out.

******* newbs. I already told you, HP does not work in an application like this. You have to use MP.

I have a very poor sense of humor, poor delivery, and no timing. At least I know when to let a joke go.

My first car was a 1987 Pontiac Turbo Firefly, which was just a rebadged Suzuki Swift. Intercooled, Fuel injected 1 litre 3 cylinder turbo. I wish I knew anything about cars when I had it. I would have never sold it and just built the **** out of it.

And lol @ turbo's not making torque. My last turbo made over 218ft/lbs at 3000RPM.

I should clairify:

Turbos will TQ in FT/LBs. But thats not applicable to this engine. The Metro needs TQ in fig newton inches (FNI). And a supercharger will do that. The engine already has plenty of top end flow and monkey power. He needs FNI getting out of the hole.
