Face it, Lamborghinis are not sports cars. Driving one is supposed to be about as subtle and sensible as using a bazooka to go duck hunting. They're all about noise, shouting, and poweeeeeer! Lambo could do a FWD minivan, and it would still be cool just on general principle, because it would have huge inlet ducts, a wing, loads of grillework, brake rotors made of depleted uranium, lots of sharp angles, and an exhaust note that sounds like a locomotive crashing into the Zildjian factory.
The family Porsche, by contrast, were always purists. It's all fine and well if BMW or Mercedes want to make a comfortable four-seat tourer that happens to do well in the twisties, but this thing has only one purpose: picking up groceries on the way home from soccer practice.
