Sparco Circuit Pro seat
The Octane page says you run that seat. How is it mounted? Pics? I am considering that same seat and need to know how well it fits (or not).

I was going to say: all this stuff is being done FOR the event. If he wasn't going to make it or had doubts about not making it I don't think he'd have started the whole project.

It is the most comfortable race seat I've ever sat in, but it was a huge ***** to get into the car. I had to invest in a 12lb sledge to move the transmission tunnel enough. I am using some cheap sidemount brackets, and I cut the stock mounts out of the floor. I've been using it with the lower cushion in, but I'm going to try without it since it lowers you much further in the car.

lol@ missing event. This is a routine thing for me. I'll actually be at Buttonwillow with NASA this weekend shaking the car down. Just have to get the motor back into it and finish up the interior - there isn't really a lot in this car
