Not that I care because I'll never own one, but you must be shrooming. It IS a Ferrari. Ferrari started as a racing car builder. They historically sold road cars to finance their racing programs.
Not saying it's that way today, since advertising is what finances all professional motorsports, but that's the heritage and the F1 Ferrari is WAY more Ferrari than any NASCRAP, NHRA/IDRC POS thing will ever be.
Stock cars used to be stock cars. Pro-Street/Super Sock cars have some legitimacy. Hell, Indy cars used to be race cars for that matter but apparently all America wants is spec racing that sells an image.
NASCAR should mandate stock blocks, no restrictors, and require homologation for the bodies.
Just my opinion....

It's not a Ferrari. Just like you can't go to a Toyota dealer and buy the car posted earlier, you can't go to Ferrari and but that one.

Maybe, you COULD buy an F-1 Car...

But on that note, no real racecar is a true car from that manufacturer since I can't go to mazda and buy an MX-5 cup car or a Spec Miata...or go to VW and buy a TDI Cup Car....and these are all lightly modded racecars, compared to what we're even talking about here.

It's not worth arguing, but yes you can. Look up the Corse Cliente program. If you have the cash, Ferrari will sell you an F1 car as well as maintain it for you. Granted, they won't sell you the current model spec but they actually build their own F1 cars, and they will sell you one. They will also sell you a factory prepped Ferrari Challenge race car.
Ferrari is for sure unique in this, but that car is a Ferrari in a way that nothing else in this thread is anything like what the manufacturer's name might imply.
If you'd have posted a Mercedes F1 car, you would be quite correct.
I'm done with this now, cuz it's just silly.
