True. If only it were just dependent on the exhaust. There's so much more to it, number of cylinders, firing order, length of tubes, diameter etc.
At least theres that device you that simulates the sound, or the exhaust whistle.........

speaking of that device! i was sitting out in front of work smokin a cigarette the other day. i sudden here an indie car, i start looking around and see a truck drive buy. the sound was coming from the truck and was dead on with the use of his throttle. you could hear it in sync with his exhaust leak...
