50' Challenge (Photos from your neck of the woods)
Since I have a relatively new camera that has gotten little use, and a 55-200 lens that has gotten used almost none in the month I've had it, I figured I would make myself a challenge. I went outside and took 30 shots within 50' of my door. It's a wet, cold and rainy morning, so I did the best I could do. I'm pretty pleased. Love the new D5100, and this 55-200 VR lens is incredible for a sub $200 zoom lens. Great bokeh and really sharp. I even got help from a model this morning. All straight from camera, no editing aside from a resize.
If anyone else cares to join in, please do. Go out and see what you can snap without any planning. Post up your best handful, or however many you want.
That last one is my favorite of the bunch. "What the **** you lookin' at, Mr. Clicky Noises?"
PS, I didn't think IMGUR resized images, especially since I chose not to resize. It also made the quality worse than my uploads to facebook. Hmm...

I like that squirrel. I wish I could have gotten some of the ones in my yard to stand still and let me get a bit closer. They are gun shy around here, for good reason. They even hear a human within 200' they take out for the trees.
Not that I care, but the challenge was to take the images now, consecutively, not just ones you have taken in the past. But that's cool, either way. I took all of those in about a 10 minute span of time.
