Oh I will. She's putting up with camping 3 nights in a row, and driving a car she hates driving for like a 12hr trip. I have no idea how she puts up with some of my ****. I know I sure as hell wouldn't.

Whats the best way to organize all this stuff? Does everyone have a facebook? We need some mt.net paddock space, and figure out some sort of breakfast.

Try it in oregon. California camping sucks, especially in the summer. You get up in the cascades and get a good view, or out in the Idaho wilderness, you'll never want to leave.

I'm debating about camping. I like to camp if I'm going out into the wilderness and camping and hiking and such. But I really really DON'T like camping as a money-saving venture. After driving all day I don't want to have to pitch a tent and build a fire and set up sleeping bags and try to sleep in a tent or out of a tent or on a rock or under a tree.

I want to drop my bag, take a shower, and go to bed.

I have a credit card to make up the difference.

I have done a whole lot of camping in my life, and if you figure it out, its close to as good as a hotel.

Good camping matress and tent are #1. If you don't sleep well you will always hate camping.

Good tent. Mine is my parents old family tent. 4 poles to set up, staked down it will take a 60mph rainstorm in stride, and keep you dry inside.

Camp stove. Nobody cooks on campfires, thats for n00bs.

When you do it enough its really not bad. My gf and I can set up camp in 15 minutes and be lounging in the shade soon afterwards.

Now...I usually do that in my truck, with a 7ft bed...fitting it in the miata is going to be very interesting.
